Which GSM should you choose?
For most T-shirts choose 160 to 190 GSM; for polos 200 to 240 GSM (our polos run from 160 to 280); for hoodies and sweatshirts 300 to 330 GSM. Go lighter for hot climates and sportswear, heavier for premium feel and long wear.
Most T-shirts, event tees and staff tees.
| GSM | Weight | Usually used for |

| 160–190 | Everyday | Most T-shirts, event and staff tees |
| 190–230 | Mid-weight | Polos, premium and oversized tees |
| 230–280 | Heavy | Premium polos, track pants, light sweatshirts |

What else changes with weight
- Feel and drape: lighter fabrics drape and breathe; heavier ones hold structure.
- Durability: heavier knits usually survive more washes.
- Printing: very light fabrics can show print through; mid-weights print most evenly.
- Cost: more fabric weight means more yarn per garment.
